Face à la montée du terrorisme au niveau international, il est urgent que l’ensemble de la communauté internationale se mobilise pour la promotion de la paix. Plusieurs conventions et protocoles de portée universelle ont été adoptés par l’ONU pour lutter contre des formes spécifiques de terrorisme. L’Assemblée générale des Nations Unies est elle-même très active pour la promotion de la paix, de même que le Conseil de sécurité de l’ONU qui joue également un rôle important dans la lutte contre le terrorisme. Dans ce contexte de hautes turbulences, plusieurs rencontres ont été organisées par différentes organisations de la société civile pour sensibiliser les décideurs sur l’urgence de la question. C’est ainsi que du 26 au 28 mai 2015, s’est tenu à Cotonou (Bénin) un important symposium sur le dialogue interculturel et interreligieux. Plusieurs personnalités de premier rang ont pris part à cette rencontre organisée par le CPPS (Bénin). Afin de jouer son d’influence et de sensibilisation, le CPPS (Centre Panafricain de Prospective Sociale), sous l’impulsion de l’éminent Pr Albert Tévoedjrè, a décidé de lancer une pétition internationale pour lutter contre le terrorisme et l’intolérance. Cette initiative est soutenue par le CIPINA, entre autres partenaires. Nous vous invitons à la signer et à faire passer le message dans vos différents réseaux. Ensemble, nous sommes plus forts.

Faced with the rise of terrorism at the international level, it is urgent that the entire international community is mobilized to promote peace. Several conventions and universal protocols have been adopted by the UN in the fight against specific forms of terrorism.The United Nations General Assembly itself is very active in the promotion of peace, as the UN Security Council also plays an important role in the fight against terrorism. In this context of high turbulence, several meetings were organized by various organizations of civil society to sensitize policy makers on the urgency of the matter. Thus from 26 to 28 May 2015, was held in Cotonou (Benin) a major symposium on intercultural and interreligious dialogue. Several international personalities took part in the meeting organized by the CPPS (Benin). In order to play its influence and awareness, CPPS (Pan African Social Prospects Centre), under the leadership of the eminent Professor Albert Tevoedjre,has decided to launch an international petition to fight against terrorism and intolerance. This initiative is supported by the CIPINA, among other partners. We invite you to sign the petition and get the message in your various networks. Together we are stronger.
