7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that could defile the body and the spirit, and thus accomplish holiness out of reverence for God.

defile = tahrata

accomblish = saada aikaan

reverence=kunnioitus, arvostus, kunnianosoitus

 

Koska meillä siis on nämä lupaukset, rakkaani, niin puhdistautukaamme kaikesta lihan ja hengen saastutuksesta, saattaen pyhityksemme täydelliseksi Jumalan pelossa.
